1. How to Enter

Listeners may enter the Christmas in July Giveaway by following the official cue to enter when it is announced on air, online, or through an official station platform.

Entry prompts may include, but are not limited to, texting a keyword, subscribing to the station’s YouTube channel, liking or following an official station Facebook page, completing a digital form, or following another announced station instruction.

Each listener may enter one time per day, unless a special bonus entry opportunity is specifically announced by the station during the Christmas in July promotion period.

Entries must be received during the announced entry window to be eligible.

2. Daily and Weekly Prize Opportunities

During the Christmas in July promotion, listeners may have opportunities to win weekly prizes, fast giveaways, and other promotional prizes. Prizes may include, but are not limited to, theme park tickets, restaurant gift certificates, merchandise, event tickets, and other items announced by the station.

Winning a weekly prize, daily prize, or fast giveaway does not remove a listener from eligibility for the grand prize trip to Mexico. Every eligible entry also counts toward the grand prize drawing.

3. Grand Prize

One eligible listener will be selected to win a trip to Mexico.

The grand prize trip includes the travel package as provided by the promotional partner or sponsor. The trip does not include airfare to or from Mexico. Winner is responsible for securing and paying for their own airfare, unless otherwise stated in writing by the station.

The trip does include transportation to and from the airport in Mexico, according to the terms and limitations of the travel provider.

The trip may be used up to 18 months in the future, subject to availability, blackout dates, travel restrictions, booking requirements, resort or provider limitations, and any other rules set by the travel provider.

The trip has no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash.

4. Eligibility

This promotion is open only to legal residents who meet all eligibility requirements.

Listeners must be at least 17 years old to enter the Christmas in July Giveaway.

To win and redeem the grand prize trip to Mexico, the winner must be at least 21 years old and must be legally able to travel internationally.

The grand prize winner must have, or be able to obtain, all necessary travel documents, including a valid passport and any other documentation required for travel to Mexico.

The station is not responsible if the winner is unable to travel due to lack of passport, legal restrictions, expired documents, denied entry, travel delays, medical issues, personal circumstances, or any other reason.

Employees, immediate family members of employees, and household members of WJIE, The Sound, WFIA, Word Media Group, participating sponsors, promotional partners, and affiliated companies may not be eligible to win. Additional eligibility restrictions may apply.

5. Entry Limit

Only one entry per person per day is allowed, unless a special bonus opportunity is announced by the station.

Multiple entries submitted by the same person on the same day may be disqualified.

Any attempt to enter using multiple names, phone numbers, email addresses, fake accounts, automated systems, or other unfair methods may result in disqualification.

6. Winner Selection

Winners of weekly prizes, fast giveaways, and the grand prize will be selected from eligible entries received during the promotion period.

The grand prize winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Christmas in July promotion, unless otherwise announced by the station.

The station’s decisions regarding eligibility, entries, winner selection, and prize awards are final.

7. Winner Notification

Winners may be contacted by phone, text, email, social media, or another method provided at the time of entry.

Winners must respond within the time frame given by the station. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture of the prize, and another winner may be selected.

The station is not responsible for missed calls, undelivered texts, incorrect contact information, blocked messages, full voicemail boxes, email spam filtering, or any other failed communication.

8. Prize Conditions

All prizes are awarded as-is. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, substituted, or redeemed for cash.

The station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

The winner is responsible for all taxes, fees, travel expenses, meals, personal expenses, upgrades, baggage fees, passports, documentation, travel insurance, and any costs not specifically stated as included.

9. Travel Conditions for Grand Prize

The grand prize trip is subject to the rules, restrictions, availability, and limitations of the travel provider.

Travel dates must be approved and booked according to the provider’s terms. Blackout dates, seasonal restrictions, capacity limits, and other limitations may apply.

The winner and guest, if applicable, must follow all travel laws, resort rules, airline rules, customs requirements, and international travel requirements.

The station is not responsible for cancellations, delays, schedule changes, acts of God, weather, illness, government restrictions, or any other travel-related issue.

10. Publicity Release

By entering, participants agree that the station may use their name, voice, photo, likeness, city, prize information, and recorded comments for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Winners may be asked to participate in station promotions, photos, videos, interviews, or social media posts.

11. General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to follow these official rules and the decisions of the station.

The station reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or change the promotion at any time if necessary due to technical issues, fraud, weather, prize availability, legal requirements, or circumstances beyond the station’s control.

The station is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, or failed entries, technical problems, phone issues, internet failures, social media platform outages, or any other issue that may affect entry.

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, or any other social media platform unless specifically stated.

12. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

13. Agreement to Rules

By participating in the Christmas in July Giveaway, each entrant agrees to these official rules and understands that all station decisions are final.
