WHAT YOU BRING

What You Bring as a WJIE Nation Volunteer:

You’re 18 or older and ready to jump in and serve
You can travel to local events and show up with joy
You can stand on your feet for a couple of hours (yes, comfy shoes are welcome!)
You’ve got a smile, a good attitude, and a heart to serve like Jesus
You love people—whether they’re longtime believers or just starting to seek hope
You’re willing to answer phones and, if you feel called, pray with those who need encouragement
Most of all, you’re excited to be part of something bigger than yourself—sharing the love of Christ through WJIE The Sound and WFIA!

We’re looking for volunteers who can serve in 2-hour blocks during special events, prayer days, and fundraisers. Just a couple of hours can make a big impact—and there’s a place for you to serve!

Volunteer Areas:

Phone Team – Answer calls, take donations, and encourage listeners during fundraising or prayer events
Prayer Team – Serve in 2-hour shifts to pray with callers or in person (training available)
Events & Concerts – Greet guests, assist with set-up or hospitality, and enjoy the music while you serve
Community Outreach – Represent WJIE at local events, festivals, or ministry efforts
Admin & Support – Help with simple behind-the-scenes needs during events or at the station

You don’t have to do it all, just bring your heart, your time, and a willingness to serve

for two hours. We’ll take care of the rest.
